The start of a new year usually brings new beginnings and fresh starts and after the s*it show that was 2020, we all need something to look forward to this year. So, this calendar for the best wellness expos and yoga festivals in the UK in 2021 is sure to help brighten up your day!
16 – 17 January | Online
I know you’re probably sick of online events by now, but since the UK’s been placed in full lockdown mode once again, there’s no other choice.
The good news is that the guys at We Are Not A Festival have organised Winter Wellness and Play, an online event that offers workshops on How to Beat the Blues, focusing on ways on how to get ourselves through the toughest time of the year after the toughest of years.

5 – 7 February | Online
Many of the in-house shows in the UK have been cancelled for the upcoming months but thankfully you can rely on The Best You Virtual Expo to keep you entertained this February.
The Best You, whose previous speakers include the highly acclaimed Paul McKeena, believes that by bringing the personal development community together and helping individuals to become more mindful and wholesome will help create a huge impact on making the world a better place. It makes total sense if you ask me.

19 – 21 March | NEC, Birmingham
The Wellbeing Festival is one of the biggest names in the industry, so it wouldn’t be a pandemic that would stop them from taking their feel-good event online in 2020 for the joy of many.
If 2021 allows, the festival will return to their Birmingham home at the National Exhibition Centre this coming March (as well as London in May) for three days of motivational talks and healing galore.

23 – 25 April| Event City , Manchester
If you live up north and can’t get to the London Om Yoga Show in October, fear not!
This event, that’s brought to the UK big names like the Youtube’s favourite yoga instructor Adriene Mishler and other leading authorities in the yoga world, is returning to the Event City in Manchester in 2021 after being cancelled last year.
Their lineup hasn’t been announced yet but if it’s anything like previous editions, it’ll definitely make up for their forced hiatus in 2020.

Organised by the amazing brains behind the free wellness magazine of the same name, Balance Festival brings together under one roof the best in the world of mindfulness, healthy eating and fitness.
Unfortunately, the festival was also cancelled due to the pandemic last year but, in previous editions, the likes of Carly Rowena and the School of Life have stepped on their stage to share their expert tips that can definitely help you improve your life.

17 – 17 October | Alexandra Palace, London
Running in London for over 15 years and in Manchester for the past few years, Om Yoga Show has established itself as one of the biggest yoga and wellbeing events in Europe and, dare I say, one of the biggest in the world.
Since 2020 has kept us indoors, practising yoga from our own living rooms, I bet you can’t wait until you get to a much overdue group yoga practise, and if you know how good this show is, you won’t miss the opportunity of attending not only one but both of the Om Yoga Show editions in 2021.

07 November | OX4 at The Oxford Academy, Oxford
The not-for-profit Oxford Yoga and Vegan Festival is coming back this November for a Christmas Special edition.
According to the information from last year’s festival, which was sadly cancelled, there’s free access to approximately 50 vegan food stalls and all-inclusive day passes starting from £5 so you can easily go from YUM to OM. (Sorry, I couldn’t help it!)

If 2020’s taught us one thing is that we can’t take anything for granted, especially during these strange times we’re living in.
Needless to say, you should first check if these wellness expos and yoga festivals will still happen and won’t be postponed in case this bloody virus is still lurking around in the near future.
Fingers crossed it won’t and these will go ahead as planned so we can all take our downward-facing dog out of our living rooms again real soon.
